Jakubowski sentenced to prison

Austin Jakubowski, 27, Wautoma, appeared in custody in a Waushara County Circuit Courtroom on June 8 with his attorney Ben Szilagyi for a sentencing hearing for 14 counts Possession of Child Pornography, two counts 1st Degree Child Sex Assault-Sexual Contact with Person under Age of 13, three counts Capture an Image of Nudity and two counts Invade Privacy-Use Surveillance Device.

Jakubowski was sentenced to prison by the Waushara County Circuit Court for a total of 35 years, with 15 years of that sentence initial incarceration and 20 years supervision.

He was convicted of First Degree Sexual Contact With Child under 13 and received a 30 year sentence composed of 12 years initial confinement and 18 years supervision.

On a related count of Possession of Child Pornography, Jakubowski received a 5-year prison sentence composed of 3 years confinement and 2 years supervision. This sentence is to be served consecutive to the First Degree Sexual Assault conviction thereby increasing his confinement to 15 years.
